The newly issued standard guidance document is applicable to short-distance communication technology in which the visible light (spectrum band 380nm-780nm) and infrared light (spectral band 790nm-1mm) emitted by LEDs are used as information carriers in indoor environments, requiring normal use of lighting places. Lighting fixtures, in meeting the communication requirements, the lighting power, illumination, color temperature, color rendering index and other lighting indicators should comply with GB50034. When applied in non-civil or special areas, the luminaires shall comply with the laws and regulations of the corresponding fields and regions. The document is not suitable for LED optical communication technology in outdoor environments with sunlight and noise.
