Many ministries and committees dictate that the new energy vehicle support policy be awaited

On September 4th and 5th, the "2010 China Automotive Industry Development International Forum", the competent authorities have reported that they are formulating or accelerating the implementation of policies to support new energy vehicles, which support the development of electric vehicle industry has become a top priority.

According to the Ministry of Science and Technology, the draft of the 12th Five-Year Plan for electric vehicles has been drafted. "Planning" includes clear seven aspects of the electric vehicle industrialization research and development direction and increase the financial subsidies for the development, optimization and application of demonstration products.

The National Development and Reform Commission is working with relevant departments to revise the “Industrial Structure Adjustment and Guidance Catalogue (2010 edition)”, and new key components for new energy vehicles have been added to the encouraged products.

The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, together with relevant departments, carried out the revision of the 2004 edition of the “Automobile Industry Development Policy”; it is expected that the “Energy-saving and New Energy Vehicle Development Plan (2011-2020)” will be basically formed and released within two months.

The Ministry of Commerce guides the export of Chinese automobiles (including parts and components) through various channels and encourages enterprises to introduce advanced equipment technologies and key components.

We must speed up development, encourage the development of the new energy automotive industry represented by electric vehicles, encourage the enhancement of the competitiveness of core components and parts of traditional Chinese and new energy vehicles, and encourage China's auto exports and mergers and acquisitions of China National Automobile Group at home and abroad. We will strive to build China into an automobile industry powerhouse by 2020. Among them, traditional vehicles will truly be internationalized. In 2020, China’s auto and auto parts exports will account for more than 10% of the world’s total trade in auto products; the industrialization of new energy vehicles and the scale of the market will be achieved. In the world, the number of new energy vehicles reached 5 million.
