In 2009, the single-cylinder diesel engine produced and sold 7.77 million units, a year-on-year increase of 16.4%, and achieved a recovery growth; the production and sales of multi-cylinder small diesel engines reached 3 million units, an increase of 31.7% year-on-year, and turned into a high-speed growth trend.

Shao Renen said that in 2009 the country secured development, guaranteed growth, and promoted people's livelihood policies in succession. Xiaochai industry should do four homework

First, in order to meet the requirements of energy conservation and major emission reductions, companies in the industry are faced with less technical difficulties than production consistency, and the supply chain's short-term status is the biggest concern.

Secondly, the R&D work of enterprises in the industry is still not standardized. The emphasis and investment on intellectual property rights are not enough, and trade frictions are prone to occur. It is necessary to increase investment in patents and other aspects. Learn to understand and learn the rules concerning your own interests. , rely on industry organizations to avoid conflicts and resolve conflicts.

Thirdly, supporting road vehicles calls for a new generation of cross-type passenger vehicles with small displacement, high speed, and light weight that meet emission regulations, research and development of light diesel commercial vehicles, independent innovation, self-contained systems, and independent property rights.
