Affected by the implementation of the National III emission standards from July 1st, the prices of most commercial vehicles have risen.

The National Development and Reform Commission price monitoring center was informed that, according to the monitoring of the national automobile market price in June, the prices of most commercial vehicle products rose, up 0.94% month-on-month and down 3.07% from the same period last year.

Among them, the increase in passenger car prices is relatively large. According to statistics from the National Development and Reform Commission's Price Monitoring Center, bus prices in June rose by 1.60% month-on-month, down 5.16% from the same period last year.

The National Development and Reform Commission price monitoring center Cheng Xiaodong told reporters that due to the large increase in the cost of upgrading from State II products to State III products, the impact on passenger car products is relatively large.

The situation that the reporter learned from some bus companies is also the same, especially light buses have become hard-hit areas.

A relevant person in charge of a bus manufacturer told the reporter that the light passenger car produced by the company was the first to increase in price during the upgrade to the State III. “The price of light buses is very low, and the added cost is very difficult for light bus products to tap potential from inside.”

Feng Gang, vice president of Weichai Power Co., Ltd., said in an interview with reporters that since the price of each light bus is only a few tens of thousands yuan, the cost of a light bus engine from State II to State III is increased by approximately 10,000 yuan. 2 million. “Although the cost of increasing the cost of a commercial vehicle engine is comparable to that of a commercial vehicle, the price of light buses is relatively high because of the high proportion of light passenger car prices,” he said.

According to statistics from the National Development and Reform Commission Price Monitoring Center, in June, the prices of light and large passenger cars rose by 1.35% and 1.67% respectively.

According to statistics, in June, passenger car prices fell as a whole, falling 0.18% and 2.18% year-on-year respectively. Among them, the price of basic type, sports passenger car and minibus dropped by 0.07%, 0.13% and 0.23% respectively from the previous month, which were lower than the price level at the beginning of the year.

The price of imported cars changed from a 1.95% drop in May from the previous month to a 1.18% increase, regaining the upward trend and rising by 1.18% over the same period of last year. However, compared with the higher growth of cars, the price of imported SUVs with large displacements has declined, which is 0.49% lower than that of the previous month, but it is still higher than the price level of the same period of last year.
