The automatic filtration of slurry in catalytic devices has been a problem in the industry. Recently, this problem was initially solved at Dalian Petrochemical. On June 25th, the automatic slurry filtration system was successfully operated in the 3.5 million tons/year catalytic cracking unit of the company's five joint workshops. At present, the technical departments and workshops are paying close attention to the operation of the system and accumulate experience to further improve the effectiveness of the oil slurry filtration system and the promotion and application of automatic slurry filtration technology.
In 2002, the 3.5 million-ton/year catalytic cracking unit was completed and put into use. The slurry filtration system of the catalytic unit that was built with the plant was not opened for various reasons. In recent years, the 3.5 million tons/year catalytic cracking unit has a large variety of raw materials and poor quality, which has led to an increase in the yield of catalytic sloshing oil slurries. The equipment now has an external oil slump of 40 tons/hour, which is more than double that of the past. . In this case, the solution to the problem of throwing slurries out of the slurry becomes even more urgent. At the same time, the demand for fuel has increased significantly after the new 6 units of Dalian Petrochemical have been put into operation. If the catalytic slurry can be used for filtration, a large amount of liquefied gas will be saved, resulting in significant economic benefits.
There are generally two approaches to catalyzing slugs out of slurries. One is to take away ordinary residual oil, and the other is to use fuel as a fuel. Considering the economic aspect and the company's development, catalytic slug oil slurry is the best fuel for the device, but the furnace cannot directly use the catalytic oil slurry. The catalyst particles in the oil slurry will cause safety hazards for the normal operation of the heating furnace. For example, the catalyst particles contained in the slurry will cause the nozzles of the heating furnace to wear and clog, seriously affecting the long-term operation of the heating furnace; the catalyst particles contained in the flue gas of the oil slurry will be deposited on the surface of the furnace tube, affecting the heat transfer effect. Therefore, the catalytic oil slurry can only be applied after filtration and purification. However, in the past, in the practice of catalytic oil slurry filtration, some technical problems were not satisfactory. Therefore, breaking the “bottleneck” of catalytic oil slurry filtration has become a prominent problem that the entire industry urgently needs to address in recent years.
In November 2007, the five joint workshops began the manual commissioning of the slurry filter. The workshop changed the operating conditions of the slurry filter several times to overcome the unfavorable factors affecting the operation of the slurry filter, completed a predetermined test program, and successfully performed the manual operation, which laid the foundation for the next automatic operation. During this period, the technical office and the workshop repeatedly explored the automatic operation method and used the equipment stoppage inspection opportunity in April this year to transform the system. Since the information available on hand is very limited, many practical problems must be solved by themselves and solutions must be found through trial and error. During the test, Wang Jian, the director of the device, and Xie Shengli, the plant technician, performed on-site monitoring of system operation at the time of 24 o'clock. Wu Yu, the technical director, often went deep into the site to instruct and work out solutions to the problem. They played an important role in the successful use of the system. On June 16 of this year, the automatic operation system for slurry oil filtration entered the preparation phase for commencement of construction. On June 25, the slurry automatic filtration system was automatically operated for investment.
