Hey everyone, This just came through from Dylan Konchan. It looks like quite an ordeal unfolded last night in Tinley Park. According to what he shared, there was a major incident involving a deck collapse at a residence on the 16700 block of Beverly Avenue. The address corresponds to an area near 167th Street and Beverly Avenue. It happened during a birthday celebration that reportedly had around 35 people on the deck. Unfortunately, the structure gave way and detached from the house, resulting in a significant fall. The Tinley Park Fire Department quickly responded along with support from neighboring districts including Orland, Oak Forest, and Thornton. They dispatched multiple ambulances and fire trucks as part of the emergency response. From what we know so far, more than a dozen individuals sustained injuries—both adults and children were affected. Thankfully, no one appears to have been trapped, though there were visible injuries, including some with bleeding wounds. Neighbors described hearing screams and chaos following the collapse. Attached are some photos taken by Dylan Konchan showing the aftermath. You can see the extent of the damage to the deck and the surrounding area. WGNTV also covered the story and has a short video report available [here](link). It’s always tough to hear about incidents like this, especially when they happen during what should be celebratory moments. Let's hope all those involved make a full recovery soon. If you have any friends or acquaintances in the area, it might be worth reaching out to check in. Take care, [Your Name]
