Recently, the research group of Professor Li Lidong of Beijing University of Science and Technology has organized two kinds of organic white light materials, such as polymer white light material and organic small molecule white light material, around the key problems in the development of white light organic light emitting diodes, and prepared a single layer white light OLED device. The maximum luminous brightness is greater than 10000 cd/m2, the luminous efficiency is greater than 30 cd/A, the lifetime is more than 1500 hours, and the color temperature is 4000-7000 K. The device can be prepared by a solution processing method, and the production process is simple, and the production cost is expected to be reduced. In addition, the research results of the solution injection carrier/transport layer, the improvement of the light emission efficiency of the device, and the selection of the high reflectivity cathode structure are compatible with the mainstream roll-to-roll production process in the future, and have a good application prospect. At present, the single-emitting layer white light device prepared by this subject is mainly concentrated in small-sized devices, and the next experiment and research work on device size-enlargement preparation will be carried out. As a new type of solid-state lighting source, white OLED (organic light-emitting diode) has the advantages of energy saving, environmental protection, easy control, and low heat dissipation. It is considered to be an important lighting source in the future. Internationally, the United States, the European Union, etc. have incorporated white OLEDs. The development of solid light sources is planned.
