Zhejiang Xinji New Material Co., Ltd. has recently started construction on its gas-phase white carbon black production project in Kaihua County, Ganzhou. The first phase of the project is expected to be completed by August this year. This new facility is a joint venture between Guangzhou JiBaiSheng Technology Industrial Co., Ltd. and Zhejiang XinAn Chemical Group KaiHua Synthetic Materials Co., Ltd. Both companies have invested 100 million yuan in total to build a 5,000-ton-per-year fumed silica production line.
Once operational, the project is anticipated to generate an additional 180 million yuan in annual sales revenue and 50 million yuan in profit and taxes. This will position Xinji New Materials as a key domestic producer of gas-phase white carbon with significant economies of scale.
The project utilizes by-products from the silicone monomer production process at Zhejiang XinAn Chemical Group Kaihua Synthetic Materials Co., Ltd. Specifically, hydrogen chloride generated during the white carbon production is recycled back into the monomer plant for silane synthesis. This closed-loop system not only supports clean production but also promotes resource efficiency and the development of a circular economy.
This initiative aligns with national industrial policies and sustainable development strategies, and it is expected to make a positive contribution to the growth of China's silicon industry. The project represents a forward-thinking approach that combines environmental responsibility with economic benefits, setting a benchmark for future industrial projects in the region.
