This is from Steve Redick:

Fire at the Evanston Box Alarm on Sherman Avenue, 635. It's a three-story multi-family apartment building. From what I saw, Engine 25 had set up a large supply line down the alley and used the deck gun to knock down the fire. The flames were coming out of the second-floor rear window and had started the porches on fire, which then spread to an adjacent building. I also noticed a large solar panel array on the roof, which definitely made ventilation more challenging. The positioning of the aerial ladder through the trees was well done. This was my first time seeing the new Skokie tower. You can view all the images and a short video here.
