There was a still and box alarm in Chicago on Thursday afternoon (July 26th) at 3051 West Irving Park Road. The fire occurred in the attic of a 2.5-story frame home that, sometime after 1913, had a 1-story ordinary storefront added to it. I don’t get up that way very often anymore, so I took the drive through midday traffic and arrived just in time to see things winding down. I thought I’d share some photos of rigs that aren’t often seen in action.
