According to the news from the Ningbo Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation Bureau, under the active response of the Ningbo Yingdahuang Company and the Electrical and Mechanical Chamber of Commerce and other units, South Africa has recently terminated its investigation into the anti-dumping cases of automobile wheels originating in China and other places. This means that the four companies involved in the case will be able to return to South Africa and other five southern countries.

On May 28, 2004, South Africa officially launched an anti-dumping investigation on automobile wheels originating in four countries including China. Due to the establishment of the Southern African Customs Union (SACU), the scope of the investigation covered four other countries outside South Africa: Botswana, Lesotho, Namibia and Swaziland. There are 4 companies involved in the case in Ningbo, with a total amount of about 300,000 US dollars. Among them, Ningbo Yingda's export is about 270,000 US dollars, which is relatively high.

With the help of the Electromechanical Chamber of Commerce, Ningbo Yingdahuang Company hired a lawyer to actively respond to the lawsuit and became the only company in the country to participate in the lawsuit. After the defense and repeated negotiations between Ningbo Yingdahuang Company, Electromechanical Chamber of Commerce and South Africa, South Africa finally made a ruling in favor of Chinese enterprises.
