This is from Larry Shapiro:

On the afternoon of March 26, 2016, Northfield firefighters were dispatched to 2050 Norfolk Road after reports of a brush fire that was getting dangerously close to a home. When the first units arrived, they spotted smoke coming from the attic and immediately escalated the response to a full Code 3. Shortly after, the situation was upgraded to a working fire with visible flames in the attic. Additional resources included engines from Northbrook, Winnetka, and Glencoe, as well as ladder trucks from Glenview, Wilmette, and Northbrook, along with Highland Park Squad 33. The rear of the house and the attic above the garage suffered damage. Firefighters managed to bring the fire under control within 20 minutes of the initial call.
