This is from Larry Shapiro:

Northfield firefighters responded to a reported brush fire at 2050 Norfolk Road on the afternoon of March 26, 2016. The fire was spreading toward a home, prompting an immediate call for assistance. Upon arrival, the first responding units noticed smoke coming from the attic and quickly escalated the situation to a working fire, upgrading to a Code 4 response with visible flames in the attic. Additional resources were dispatched, including engines from Northbrook, Winnetka, and Glencoe, as well as ladder trucks from Glenview, Wilmette, and Northbrook, along with Highland Park Squad 33. The rear of the house and the attic above the garage sustained damage. Firefighters worked swiftly and managed to bring the fire under control within 20 minutes of the initial call.
