(1) When the sieve machine is shipped from the factory, the vibration device is filled with lubricating oil and has anti-corrosion performance, which is valid for three months. After the storage period is more than three months, it will run for 20 minutes, and it can continue to be preserved for three months. When working, it should be replaced with clean lubricating oil.

(2) Always keep the vent hole of the exciter unobstructed (leading to oil leakage due to blockage). If there is still oil leakage after unblocking, the oil seal should be replaced.

(3) The normal operation of the bearing should not exceed 75 °C. The new exciter may have a slightly higher temperature because of a running-in process, but after 8 hours of operation, the temperature should be stabilized. If the temperature continues to be too high, the oil should be checked. Level, oil level and oil cleanliness.

(4) Ensure that the labyrinth tank is filled with grease, and that it should work more frequently when the amount of dust is large.

(5) When replacing the V-belt, the motor anchor bolt should be completely loosened, and the V-belt should be conveniently placed in the pulley groove. The V-belt should not be used with sticks or other objects. The tension of the V-belt should be suitable. The wheel should be aligned. After adjusting the tension, work for 48 hours and then adjust again.

(6) The bolt connecting the vibration exciter and the screen box is a high-strength nut. It is not allowed to replace it with ordinary bolts. Check the tightening condition regularly, at least once a month. If any one of the bolts is loose, it will cause other bolts to be cut and cause damage to the screen.

(7) Where the ring groove rivets are used, it is allowed to be replaced by high-strength bolts. All contact faces or holes shall be free of iron filings, ash, oil, rust and burrs.

(8) The high-strength bolts, nuts and washers used shall comply with the requirements of "Technical Conditions for High-strength Large Hex Bolts, Large Hex Nuts and Washers for Steel Structures".

(9) In order to prevent the internal stress caused by welding, it is generally not allowed to weld the screen box and any auxiliary parts on site. When welding is required, it should be carried out by skilled operators. The following steps are recommended.

a. To prevent crack propagation, a 6 mm diameter hole was drilled at each end of the crack.

b. Use a round shovel to shovel the groove along both sides of the crack.

c. First preheat about 60 °C, use 3mm diameter electrode (corresponding grade), and prevent any slag and bite.

d. Smooth the solder on both sides and weld the reinforcing plate.

e. If it is necessary to weld on the screen bracket beam, all welds shall be parallel to the beam and shall not be welded laterally.

f. When using AC welding, the screen box should be grounded to prevent current from passing through the bearing, otherwise it will easily cause damage to the bearing.
