Jiangyin builds 10,000-ton graphene mass production base

The reporter was informed on the 8th that the well-known domestic graphene industry - Carbon Valley Technology is investing in a mass production base in Jiangyin. After five years, it is expected to realize the annual production capacity of 10,000 tons of graphene, leading to the formation of a 100 billion-scale application industry cluster.

After years of scientific and technological research, Carbon Valley Technology has developed a non-liquid phase functional stripping process to achieve high-quality graphene sheet industrial production, and the production cost is significantly reduced. Carbon Valley Technology cooperates with scientific research institutions and downstream enterprises to achieve successful applications in lithium-ion power batteries, anti-corrosion coatings, ceramics and metal materials.

Thanks to its unique properties, graphene can be deeply integrated with various industries to show its unique charm. Graphene projects are being developed in many parts of the province, but homogenization should be avoided. Jiangyin graphene industry is not the earliest start, the scale is not the biggest, but adhere to the "first to find the application direction and then build the raw material preparation project" development philosophy, to avoid blindly lead to overcapacity. It is understood that the annual production capacity of 10,000 tons will be released in an orderly manner according to the scale of market application.
