Here's a message from Martin Nowak:

The 71st Street project in Bridgeview took several years to complete, but today, Saturday, marked the official Reopening Ceremony. The Bridgeview Fire Department, Bridgeview Emergency Management, and even our governor were in attendance. MABAS 21 Rehab unit was one of the emergency management units involved, specifically under X-Justice FD. I've attached a photo showing an old ambulance, and I'm trying to figure out where it came from.

The street will officially reopen to traffic on Tuesday.

It’s always interesting to see how local projects come together after so much time and effort. The presence of the governor shows just how important this project was for the community. I also noticed that some of the photos included vintage fire engines, which adds a nice touch to the event. It seems like the ceremony was quite well attended, with many people coming out to celebrate the reopening. I hope the new road brings more convenience and safety to the residents of Bridgeview. Let me know if anyone has any info on the old ambulance—would love to hear more about its history!
